Research of pesticides reduction on hight single-stage layers

In the examined layers (from active carbon and brown coal and coke), the biggest reduction COD and oxygen consumption was on the layer filled up with active carbon. At the water flow with Chwastox, by a dose D=10 mg s.a/cubic dm with the speed of V=0.9 m/h received reduction of 80 percent. The increase of speed up to V=5.5 m/h decreased the reduction to about 60 percent
