The influence of fertilization on percentage of fibre and content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in two grass species - Dactylis glomerata L. and Trisetum flavescens (L.) P. Beauv. - from semi-natural grassland under four fertilization variants (triple-cutting system) were observed during 1993-1994. Only the changes in the botanical composition of the grassland and content of nitrogen in selected plant species influenced by the fertilization variant were observed. The fibre content was influenced by cutting, year and plant species. The potassium content depended on plant species and phosphorus content was influenced by year, cutting and plant species
