This study was carried out between 1994-1995 in Van. As experimental material 5 wild apricot and 7 apricot cultivars (Aprikoz, Hasanbey, Hacihaliloglu, Kabaasi, Paviot, Soganci, Tokaloglu) were used in grew Van ecological contitions. The total flavan contents of phloem tissue extracted from the plants at different intervals throughout the years were determined by spectrophotometric method. In addition, it was determined the phenological characteristics and fruit and shoot growing along year. The aims of this study were determined the correlations between the total flavans and fruit growing, shoot growing, flowering, harvest, fall of the leaves. The flowering period was between 19 March and 29 April, the harvest period 16 July and 28 July, and the fall of the leaves was in 1 Nowember in apricot cvs. by average. This value was differentiated between 3.70 mg/g (Nr.65 VA 05)-4.39 mg/g (Soganci cv.). The maximum total flavan content (6.67 mg/g) was determined in 5 May on Kabaasi cv. and the minimum total flavan content (2.447 mg/g) 0 in 21 December on paviot cv. The highest total flavan content (4.39 mg/g) was in Soganci cv. and the lowest total flavan content (3.70 mg/g) in Nr. 65 VA 05 along year. The correlation between total flavan content and leaf area were determined as r=-0.846** in wild apricot forms. The correlations between total flavan content and shoot growing, flowering as r=-0.730**, r=-0.691**, respectively. It was determined that the unimportant correlation between fruit growing and total flavan content, in vegetation in all cvs. apart from Nr.65 VA 01
