Efficiency of Neguvon against intestinal nematodes and Gasterophilus spp. larvae in horses

Five of thirty-five horses naturally infected with Strongylidae spp., Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi and/or Gasterophilus spp. larvae were treated with Neguvon (trichlorfon) at 75 mg/kg and the rest of the animals were treated 50 mg/kg doses. Number of eggs of Strongylidae decreased 80.1% and 82.5% respectively, on days 8-15 after treatment. Neguvon gave good results against adult Strongylidae spp. and Parascaris equorum and Oxyuris equi (L$) and Gasterophilus larvae
