Data of 2310 purebred 1905 crossbred (F1) 1079 backcross and 1633 market hog litters in Holiday Hills Stock and Breeding Farms, Laguna, Philippines were analyzed. Factors considered as source of variation were breeding type, litter order, month and year of farrowing. All factors significantly affected the important traits of reproductive performance. The market hog and backcross litters showed significantly (p0.05) bigger number of pigs born alive, litter size at birth and at weaning litter weight at weaning and number of pigs weaned per sow per year than the purebred and crossbred litters. The crossbred litters performed significantly (p0.05) better litter size at weaning, survival rate at weaning, weaning weight, litter weight at weaning and number of pigs weaned per sow per year than the purebred litters. No significant difference of the important traits was found between the market hog and backcross litters.
