Good results in growth, conversion, loss decrease, meat quality increase in carp have been achieved by nourishment the fish to extruded components of soybeans, beans, wheats and maize. A significant decrease in fish flour quantity used, which is a solely imported component, has been accomplished by the method of using those extruded components. Carp meat quality, the relation of proteins to fats and especially its gastronomic quality, almost matches the meat of Salmonidae.
