The effect of regular soil cultivation and intertillage cultivation on the yield and quality of sugar beet

During the two-year period, 2 types of regular and 5 types of intertillage cultivation was investigated regarding on the yield and quality in sugar beet. The investigation was conducted on the calcareous hydromorphic black soil, in the conditions of good soil moisture content. The object of experiment was to test justification of replacing the plough with subsoil attachment in deep ploughing, justification of number increase and depth of intertillage cultivation, and the replacing of standard working elements with chisel working elements in the deepest operation of intertillage cultivation.
