The anatomy of Asplenium septentrionale fern (root, rhizome, leaf rachis) was stidued with special reference to the modofications of the stele along its corm. In the root, the stele is a hadrocentric protostele, a diardi type, while in the rhizome, it is a dictyostele with five-seven meristeles. In the leaf (petiole and rachis), the stele is a distele with two meristeles, till the leaf top rachis.
