Hydrology and water budget of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia

The hydrological network in Yugoslavia is described, with information about the gauging stations: equipment, length of series and frequency of observation. Then, the basic characteristics of the hydrological regime are recapitulated, such as the average, low and high flows, as well as the within-the year flow distribution. The most important indicators of the water budget are presented for the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia as a whole, and the constituent republics and autonomous provinces separately. The information is based on the hydrologic data for the period (1946(47)-1991.
