[Patasium fertilization during growing period and its effect on tomato yield and quality]

The effect of potassium level into the land (0, 150, 300 mg/kg land) on plant growth, yield and fruit quality has been tested in three tomato varieties. The plant height and fruit yield are recorded to each crop. The ascorbic acid of fully matured fruits and K content of matured tomatoe leaves were analyzed. There were no statistical differences neither in the slope of the growth curve of the plant height, nor in the crop yield. Meanwhile, there were found significant differences of fruit ascorbic acid content, due to different potassium quantity applied into the land. Thanks to potassium influence differences of K content in matured tomato were significant, too.
