Conservation of grass silage of pea-oats mixture with different chemicals

Grass silages of pea-oats mixture were prepared in five experimental rings in following variants: control, and with additition of : 1% ammonium bicarbonicum, 0.36% ured, 0.6% sodium metabisulphite and 0.4% formic acid respectively.Five digestibility experiments were carried out with those forages with four wethers.It was found that the digestibility of organic matter was 65.1, 64.8, 65.1, 64.5, 69.6%, of protein - 71.7, 71.4, 68.5, 66.9, 73.3% and of NFE - 62.9, 61.8, 60.9, 63.0, 73.5% respectively for the control group and corresponding experimental silages.
