The most important fungus diseases in stone fruit in Estonia are leaf spot and occomycosis. Both diseases cause serious damages in tree health status and also affecting the yield. Our objective of present study was to evaluate susceptibility to leaf spot of cultivated plum and cherry was well as coccomycosis of cherry cultivars. The experiment were carried out at the Polli Horticultural Institute during 1986-1990. Twelve plum cultivars were evaluated for leaf spot resistance. 'Noarootsi Punane' was chosen as control cultivar. Two sweet cherry cultivars 'Doenissen's Gelbe Knorpel' and 'Kristiina' and three selections Polli Murel, Polli Rubiin and Tommu as well as four sour cherry cultivars 'Hindenburg', 'Laeti-Leedu Madalkirss', 'Kampesur' and 'Schattenmorelle' were evaluated both for leaf spot and coccomycosis resistance. 'Leningradskaya Chernaya' was chosen as control cultivar
