Some exocellular enzymes of corn roots and their role in the transformation of foreign phenol compounds have been investigated. it is estableshed, that the nutritious medium of 10 year old corn seedlings is characterized with high peroxidase activity, weak odiphenoloxidaze activity, mono-phenotoxidaze and phenol glycosidase activities in a nutritious medium are not found. The received data enables us to conclude that during transformation of phenols brought into nutritious medium, actively participates excreted by roots peroxidase. The insignificant amout of excreted by roots phenoloxidase actually does not influence the transformation of phenols brought into nutritious medium. In notririous medium foreign phenols are not glycosilated.
