In bee keeping, the most important factor is the hive production. To fulfill the demand for honeybee juveniles in large quantity within a short time, is still difficult. The aim of this study is to find the best way to supply queen cells. The result of this study is expected to produce high quantity of bee colony. The experimental design used is Split Plot Design, with glodog (hollowed coconut trunk) and stup (wooden bee hive) as the main plots. While the subplots consist of the zigzag cut combs and non-cut combs, with eight replicates. The variable observed are the number of queen cells formed in each treatment in glodog or stup, for two months. In addition, the angle between queen cells and non-cut comb center were measured. The result of data analysis showed that, glodog condition and zigzag cut combs produced the largest quantity of queen cells. On the other hand, cell position on non-cut combs produced the highest frequency in the interval of 40 degree - 49 degree
