The theoretical and practical aspects of structural policy as a branch of national economy are explained and discussed. The domestic trade policy is analysed as a component part of the structural policy. The influence of the domestic trade policy on industrial and trade sectors is considered, the tasks of the domestic trade policy are defined. The contradictions of interests of governmental and non-governmental institutions in implementing the country's domestic trade policy are described.
