Forecasting of mounding groundwater table under subsurface sewage disposal system

Paper described the analysis of groundwater table mounding under subsurface sewage disposal system, with application of numerical model. The study was carried out for three types of soil, different slope of impermeable horizon and different hydraulic sewage load. Distribution of air contents in soil pores treated as deposition under subsurface sewage disposal system and infiltration directions, was presented. The results showed that hydraulic load can not be the only criterion to design subsurface sewage disposal system and calculations should include the seepage in unsaturated and saturated zones
