Virulence of fifteen Globodera rostochiensis populations was assessed on a set of six potato genotypes (Santé, Clone 12674, Corsair, Vantage, Morag, and Désirée). The assays were performed in plastic containers using 5 eggs/g of soil. After 4 months the new cysts produced were extracted and counted and the number of eggs was determined. The results showed that cv. Désirée was the most susceptible. Differences in virulence towards Corsair, Morag and Vantage were observed among the fifteen populations. Analysis of variance of fecundity and relative reproduction data based on cysts/g of soil and newly formed eggs+J2/g soil will be presented and discussed
