Status of botrytis gray mold of chickpea research in Punjab, India
1998
Singh, G. | Sharma, Y.R. | Bains, T.S.
A large number of wild species of chickpea were screened in greenhouse conditions using growth room and cut twig methods at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, India during 1994/95 to 1996/97. Resistance to botrytis gray mold (BGM) was identified in wild species namely Cicer judaicum, Cicer bijugum and Cicer echinospermum. These species were used in breeding for BGM resistance and a large number of progenies were made available for multilocational testing. Some newly developed fungicides were evaluated to control BGM
