1998
Lieu, N.V. | Long, T.D. | Hong, N.X.
Bacterial wilt (BW) caused by Burkholderia solancearum is one of the most serious groundnut diseases in Vietnam. The first screening for BW resistance was done during 1992-95 when a total of 715 groundnut germplasm accessions were screened in northern Vietnam. Only 4.1 percent of the screened lines were resistant to BW. Of those only 0.6 percent were highly resistant. Groundnut line Gie Nho Quan had good agronomic characters and was highly resistant to BW with survival rating of 97 percent
