Pentachlorphenol separation acceleration in soil and its risks

In the project: "Pedological aspects of evaluation and effective utilization of production and ecological soil potential" experimental verification of ecological functions, which take parts on transport, immobilisation, and elimination of PCP in undisturbed soil profiles were realised. Simple treatments of acceleration of ecological soil potential are used. Main aim of this work is presentation of transport and elimination of PCP in accelerated and non-treated variants of Phaeozem and Chernozem soil types and also possibility of nitrate leaching, because of addition of high dose of mineral nitrogen. Preliminary results show fundamental decreasing PCP concentration in accelerated variants opposite to non-treated variants and low distribution of PCP in both soil profiles. Negligible increase in leaching of NO3- from 50 cm accelerated variants in comparison with non-accelerated variants was observed
