"Fuzzy" ELIZA for serotyping Haemophilus parasuis using heat-stable antigen extracts

Protocol has been developed for serotyping 7 common serovars of Haemophilus parasuis using an ELISA. This newly developed procedure has a number of methodological advantages such as simplicity, lack of the need to adsorb antisera to remove cross-reactivity, the use of very small volumes of antigen and antibody, highly reproducible results and the potential for serotyping a large number of isolates routinely.
