Objectives of this research were to study socio-economics background of farmer; to find out input factors and communication exposure; to investigate the relationship of some factors with dry season rice growing area, to find out the factors which influence to rice growing area on dry season, and including their problems and recommendation. The respondents were 266 households which were selected by multi-stage sampling technique. Data were collected by interviewing method and statistically analysed by percentage, arithmetic mean, correlation coefficient of Pearson product moment, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Findings : Dry season rice growing area positively related to production of second crop rice (r = 0.83), total income (r = 0.70), agricultural land size (r = 0.60), total labors (r = 0.84), labor expenditures (r = 0.78), and cash investments (r = 0.75). Those variables associated with dependent variable significant at level of .001. Besides, number of labors in household correlated with dry season rice growing area (r = 0.25, p .05). For, factors selecting to influence on dry season rice growing areas; the outcome of hypothesis test revealed that there were four independent variables had influence on dry season rice growing area. They could predict 86.30 percent of using dry season rice growing areas. Those were second crop rice production (78.10 percent) total labors (5.30 percent), labor expenditures (1.90 percent) and agricultural land size (1.00 percent).
