The main purpose of this research, was the qualitative and quantitative determination of various food dyes in some foods offered to the purchaser in Turkey. The results obtained were determinated according to the Turkish Food Regulations. Total of 3269 food samples were analyzed in 5 years. We have analyzed especially in the candies, artifical beverage powders, ice-creams and gums. The food colours fixed in our samples were permitted dyes in the Turkish Food Regulations
