This research was carried out the Department of Field Crops, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Thrace in Tekirdag in 1993. The experimental material was "Castelli" variety of berseem clover which was originated from Greece and "Multimo" cultural variety of Italian ryegrass which was originated from Holland. This research was sown on 3 different sowing norms (2,3 and 4 kg/da), 3 different row spacing (30.40 and 50 cm) and different mixture rates (100/0, 80/20, 60/40, 40/60, 20/80 and 0/100). This research was established in randomized block design. Green fodder yield and also yield components (plant height, tiller number of Italian ryegrass; plant height, branch number per plant of berseem clover) were determined
