A study on the prevalence of Toxoplasmosis in cattle, sheep and goats in Adana region by using ELISA and IHA tests

In this study, 771 blood sera from 301 sheep, 100 goats, 370 cattle were tested for Toxoplasmosis by IHA and ELISA-IgG. Control groups were selected from the animals with no abortions. In IHA test titer of 1:64 and in ELISA-IgG titer of 1:200 were concidered positive. 66 (%25.5) out of 259 sera from sheep that aborted were positive in IHA, and 57 (%22) were positive in ELISA. 4 (%9.5) out of 42 sera from control group of sheep were positive in IHA, and 3 (%7.1) positive in ELISA
