The new aspects of micronutrient feeding of the pregnant cows are substantiated for correcting the metabolism in the mother-fetus-offspring chain, rising in the productivity of cows as well as for the improvement of the quality of products, provision of realizing the genetic potential of the prenatal growth and development. By the studies conducted new data are obtained on the effect of micronutrient feeding of cows in the dry period on the metabolism in their organisms and processes of the fetus development. For the first time effect is studied of copper, zinc and cobalt chelate compounds with the methionine aminoacid on the organism of pregnant animals in the third phase of the pregnancy. The dynamics of changes in physiological and biological indices of the cows during the dry period is shown. The optimal rates of copper, zinc and cobalt methionates in dry cows rations are determined
