Removing of cracks on malaxeur manufactured from plaque sheet plates

In the paper, the technological procedure of crack repairing on mixers, malaxeurs, in the Chemical Industry "Zupa" in Krusevac, Serbia (Yugoslavia), is described. The mixers are made from plaque sheet plates, and are intended for operation in circumstances of very agressive working area. The mixers represent a part of continual technological process and every interruption due to their failure is causing a interruption of whole production line. So that, it is necessary to provide for removing of such failure in a efficient and reliable manner, in the present case that is repairing of cracks by means of welding. Applied technological procedure described in this paper, gave the good results.
