Study was conducted in 1996-1997.One day old drones from 13 bee families were periodically marked with different colours and their migration in to other fammilies was recorded.Results showed that drone migration to other families was significant (from 0.06 to 6.0%) for the recorded bee families.From overall 2409 marked drones only 26 were recorded as penetrating in other families during the two year period of observation.
