Pathogenic and saprophyte microflora of sugar beet seeds is studied. In laboratory and field experiments the efficiency of new seed dressing for seed infection control caused by black root of sugar beet agents is determined. The production testing of sumi 8,2% w.p. showed that the preparation decreases the spread of black root of sugar beet 2 times and 3 times its development what gave an opportunity to keep 80 centners of root crops and to get sugar content 1,5% higher than in the control
