Estimations of breeding values were provided for milk production of dairy goats and meat production of sheep breeds Suffolk and Texel. The breeding values of goats varied for milk yield from -121 to +251 kg, for milk fat concentration from -0.50 to +0.41 % and for milk proteins concentration from -0.37 to +0.33 %. Three equations were used for the calculation of sheep breeding values. They concerned the following characteristics: 1) weight at the age of 100+/-15 days; 2) height of back muscles and back fat; 3) fertility.
