Data from investigation expeditions on the fields of intensive technologies carried out in 1999-2000, winter wheat variety comparison carried out in 1994-1999 on variety experiment stations and winter wheat pickling and fertilization from investigations carried out on experiment stations at Lithuanian University of Agriculture in 1998-2000 is presented in the paper. It was determined that on high fertility soils the parameters of the model winter wheat crop should be: crop density: 5.0-5.5 mln/ha of stalks, 1000 grain mass aprox. 45.0 g, number of grain in the ear aprox. 30-32 units. On the soils of medium fertility to obtain the yield of 4.5-5.0 t/ha the productive crop density should be aprox. 4.5 mln/ha of stalks, 1000 grain mass aprox. 42.0, number of grain in the ear aprox. 24-27 units. The highest number of productive stalks 4.06-4.80 mln/ha was obtained when seeds were pickled and fertilized P sub(120) K sub(120) P sub(150) K sub(150). Among different fertilizer norms and productive crop density average and strong correlative relationships: r=0.615 - 0.808 were determined in different seed pickling variants in different years
