Lauk, R. | Lauk, E. (Estonian Agricultural Univ., Tartu (Estonia). dept. of Field Crop Husbandry)
The study of pea-grain mixed crops conducted by the Institute of Field Crop Husbandry of the EAU showed that the highest yields were obtained when combining pea with oats (4,400 kg per ha (-1)). The second highest yields were produced by pea-wheat mixes (up to 4,050 kg per ha (-1)), while pea-barley mixes yielded the lowest crops (less than 3,670 kg per ha (-1)). Pea-grain mixes produced considerably higher protein yields than grain monocultures
