The influence ofagrotehnological methods to the potato tuber raw protein-, potassium- and phosphor content

Based on the trial results of three trial years it was learnt that the potassium content of the tubers dry matter was rather stable and was not much influenced by the weather conditions, as potassium stays very mobile both in rainy and dry vegetation period. During the years of trial the average potassium content of the tubers dry matter was 1.8...2.0 per cent. The phosphor content of the tubers dry matter is strongly related to the rainfall during the vegetation period and the phosphor content in soil. The rainy vegetation period in 1998 faciliated phosphor accumulation in tubers. The tubers. The tubers' phosphor content in M and MC versions and S+Ti version was over 0.31 per cent. In To+Ti 0.5 versions the phosphor content was 0.27 per cent. The results were relatively low in droughty 1999, when the movement of phosphor from the soil to the plant and from there to the tubers was inhibited because of the moisture deficit.
