In Lithuania we have five weed surveys of arable land. The study of stabilized communities makes us understand the factors governing the composition and development of plant communites. This paper is dealing with results of fifty years investigations on weed infestation and dynamic in species. There are a lot of factors governing the development and changes of weed communites, therefore to predict changes in it on the basis of factual information is difficult due to multitude of interrelating factors
