For determination of mutation frequency in M2 by sorts of garlicx "Goruli", "Poliot" and "Local Population" affected by gamma radiation (50...500 rad), by solutions of chemical mutagenes, concentration 0,01...0,03% detected higher frequency in M2 caused by gamma radiation of 500 rad. The same regularities are observed under chemical mutagenes influence but of relatively lower frequency. It is determined that the varietal distinction of garlic insignificantly influenceses on frequency mutation.
