The simple recurrent selection on harvesting date and yield of corn in dry land

英语. The objective of this research was to evaluate selection progress after two cycles of simple recurrent selection on harvesting date and yield. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Complete Block Design with six replications. The selection progress was evaluated from linear regression coefficient between characters and selection cycles. The results indicated that selection progress per cycle for harvesting date was -4.56 days based on Arjuna variety and -2.56 days based on based population (C0). The harvesting date of Arjuna variety was 84.89 days; C0, 80.83 days; C1, 78.28 days and harvesting date of C2 75.78 days; which decrease significantly. Whereas selection progress per cycle for yield was -0.029 t/ha based on Arjuna variety and 0.072 t/ha based on C0 population. The yield of Arjuna was 2.940 t/ha; C0, 2.737 t/ha; C1, 2.799 t/ha and yield of C2 was 2.882 t/ha

印度尼西亚. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemajuan seleksi sifat umur panen dan daya hasil pada tanaman jagung setelah dua siklus seleksi berulang sederhana. Metode yang digunakan metode eksperimental dengan percobaan di lapangan. Percobaan dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan enam ulangan. Kemajuan seleksi dihitung dari koefisien regresi linear antara sifat-sifat yang diamati dengan siklus seleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa kemajuan seleksi per siklus untuk umur panen sebesar -4.56 hari atas dasar Arjuna dan -2.56 hari atas dasar populasi awal (C0). Umur panen varietas Arjuna adalah 84.89 hari; C0, 80.83 hari; C1, 78.28 hari dan umur panen C2 adalah 75.78 hari; yang berkurang secara nyata. Sedangkan kemajuan seleksi per siklus untuk daya hasil sebesar -0.029 t/ha atas dasar Arjuna dan 0.072 t/ha atas dasar C0. Daya hasil Arjuna 2.940 t/ha; C0, 2.737 t/ha, C1, 2.799 t/ha; dan daya hasil C2 adalah 2.882 t/ha
