Tillage system can influence soil temperature and electrical conductivity (EC) conditions. Soil temperature strongly influences biological processes, such as germination, seedling emergence and growth, root development, and microbial activity. Soil with high EC (high salinity) can reduce crop yield. The objective of this research was to determine soil tillage system and nitrogen fertilizer dosage impact on soil temperature and EC conditions. The research was conducted in the Agricultural Polytechnic Farm, Lampung University, from January to May in a long term research plot offer 14 cropping seasons. Tillage systems were applied to main plot, dosage nitrogen to subplots, and the depth of soil layer to sub-subplots. The data were analysed by analysis of variances and Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that conventional tillage, minimum tillage and no-tillage system gave a good conditions of soil temperature and EC for corn growth. Conservation tillage system gave corn production in high quantity
