An analysis of the existential and using volume of the resources in the rural area-Rice straw and rice husks in Aomori prefecture [Japan]

This study aims to clear the existential and using volume of the rice straw and the rice-husks in Aomori prefecture in recent years. As a result next features are found. Since 1960's farm households had been changing and decreasing the using volume and ways of the rice straw because of the decrease of raising domestic cattles, and because of the starting to work as a seasonal immigrant or non-agricultural laborer from full-time farmer to part-time farmer. In addition, the mechanization of agricultural hand works had helped to burn the rice straw and to cut and throw the straws in the paddy fields. But these features are different from area to area according to the different types of the farm management and the difference of the paddy field's condition
