Diagnosis of nutritional disorders in plants based on the fourier transformation spectrum of bioelectric potential on a leaf surface

Previously, we analyzed spectral data of the principal component of the bioelectric potential on a leaf surface using a frequency range of 0.65-0.96 Hz. Characteristic patterns in the bioelectric potential spectra were observed in nitrogen-deficient and phosphorus-deficient plants. In the present experiments, bioelectric spectra were examined at a frequency of 1-20 Hz in plants cultivated in N-deficient, Mg-deficient, Fe-deficient and complete nutrient solutions. Based on a sample 5 times more than our previous study, the same characteristic patterns were observed in N- and Mg-deficient plants. In addition, the NO3-N and Mg concentration in the sap was analyzed. Finally, the relationship between the bioelectric spectrum and plant components was confirmed
