[Soil tillage and herbicide application on hills]

This article provides a summary of the Results of herbicide testing in the crops grown in and not in a crop rotation over the period 1982-1998. We elucidated the efficacy of the tested herbicides, their rates, application time, combination of herbicide mixtures and comparison with autumn soil tillage under the conditions of hilly relief. It was determined that without autumn soil tillage or with minimal tillage in combination with herbicide mixture the weed incidence in the crop rotation crops and soil erosion were significantly reduced
