Logging is the main event in forestry to realize profit of this business in the form of timber and fuelwood and the revenue earned from their sale; For sustainable forestry management and a good business, only a part of it is to be utilized for future investments and rest is to be kept to cover the risk. Article describes the logging practices and their impacts and suggest some pre-requisites for reduced impact logging and application of reduced impact logging to advance sustainable forestry management.
