No significant differences were observed in fattening traits, carcass quality and physico-chemical indicators of meat. The organoleptic traits of meat improved slightly. The experimental meat was characterized by lower heat losses, better tenderness and taste. The fodder fat supplement had a beneficial effect on dietetic characteristics of meat
