Cadmium content in wheat grain and milling products

Cadmium content of wheat grain and milling products were studied. Cadmium values above the tolerable amount were not found in the studied material. All analysed samples were in agreement with the directive to 298/1997 of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic. The highest Cd content is in the milling products with higher crude ash content (germ, bran and feed wheat flour)
