Transpiration of Norway spruce trees in two plots of different densities

This contribution brings results of sap flow measurement in twenty year old Norway spruce (Picea abies L. KARST.) trees supposed to be affected by their location within plots of different density. Strong relationships were found between specific sap flux and incident global radiation, and air temperature and air humidity at 5 m height canopy level, respectively. The simulation was taken on dependence of incident global radiation measurement. The specific sap flux was higher for trees growing in the sparse plot than in the dense one
