In this study, controlled atmosphere storage conditions of Washington Navel oranges, which is one of the standart orange cultivars of Turkey, were investigated. Oranges were stored at 5 deg and 7 deg C and three different CO2:O2 concentrations, which were 1% CO2: 3% O2: 3% CO2: 3% O2; 5% CO2: 3% O2 were tested. During the storage period, weight loss, juice, titratable acid, soluble solid and vitamin C content of the oranges were determined and the changes in the skin colour and respiration rate of the oranges were recorded by taking samples at certain intervals from different controlled atmosphere conditions
