Experiment on breeding and rearing of abalone (Haliotis asinina Linne) using known age of spawners was success by using natural method-Fertilized egg has diameter 190 um developed to trochophore larvar (180*140 um), to veliger stage (240*180 um), and to creeping stage took 5 hrs, 8-9 hrs, and 25 hrs after the fertilization respectively. Larvar developed to the young shell stage with a first respiratory pore at shell length 2.0 mm on 24th day. Larval food was Nitzschia sp. The temperature and salinity of sea water used on this study were 29-31 deg C and 28-30 ppt respectively.
