Issues are considered of the maximum involvement and optimal use of the renewable resources of anthropogenic origin in agriculture, as well as the use of mineral and organic raw materials in raising the potential soil fertility. Recreating the soil fertility is reached by means of building the substantiated crop rotations and of applicating the optimal rates of organic and mineral fertilizers, as well as of using chemical reclamations (liming and gypsuming). Optimal levels of fertilizers' application in the basic soil and climatic zones of Ukraine are given. Under conditions of the limited resource provision a trend is observed toward the forced "biologization" of agriculture with the maximum use of the local resources and atmospheric nitrogen. The following materials are mentioned as the renewable resources: the cattle and swine manure, and poultry manure, as well as secondary production of plant production, including chopped cereal straw, maize and sunflower stems, beet tops, green manure. High effectiveness of the liquid organic fertilizers is stated. Other reserves of renewable sources of organic substances are listed (distilling industry wastes, peat, lake and Black Sea sapropels). The use of plant growth stimulators, and macro- and micronutrients is also recommended as an appropriate method of raising crop yield
