Quality of soil bulk plays an important role for safety and stability of earth dam. In this paper, author presents one of biggest problems which affect the quality of dam and need to be paid attention to that is technologies to build earth dam under conditions of geology , climate and environment at working areas with examples in West Highland, Southern central and Eastern south. Some problems in climatic conditions, construction process, causes of some dam damages, and approprrate building technical parameters are mentioned
