Paraserianthes falcataria (L.) Nielsen is a fast growing species, planted broadly for industrial use in many tropical countries. The height of tree can be 45 - 50m, the diameter can be 90-100cm. In Vietnam it is planted in Phu Tho, Gia Lai, Hoa Binh, Dong Nai, Son La, Nghe An. The colour of wood is white. The content of extracts are low. It is mentioned that this species can be used for pulping
