The trial was carried out from August to December, 1999 on degraded grey soil to investigate the effects of 14 level of N fertilization (from 0-450 N) on nutrient intake of corn and nutrient retention capacity of soil. Soluble nutrient retention capacity of degraded grey soil was very low.
